My New Obsession

While being home this last year, I have been looking for new projects and I found a new obsession…quilting! I had always thought of quilting as too difficult, but once I dove in, I realized that I could handle it and enjoy it! Quilting is like life…it is made of a lot of smaller blocks (or moments). As you piece them together into a myriad of designs, you are amazed by the endless possibilities.

The sun finally came out so I could get pictures of the two “fireside quilts” I made most recently. I envision relaxing evenings with my family and a cozy fire under these throws.

Once Upon a Camper…

I recently had the pleasure of creating black microsuede bench cushions for a friend’s super cute vintage camper turned hang out space. She and her family needed some extra room for online work, remote learning and, on the weekend, relaxing. So they completely gutted the camper and refurbished it with new walls, benches, and shelving to create a flexible and stylish living space. She spruced up the exterior and had me recover the awnings as well with a chic, durable outdoor fabric. Way to think outside the box!
