As the COVID-19 virus has spread into pandemic proportions, it has left many feeling scared and helpless. But we have to have faith that we will persevere and weather this storm. One tactic is to find a way to help. It does not have to be a grand gesture. Simply calling and checking on friends and family and spreading cheer can go a long way. I have been fortunate enough to have materials on hand to make cotton masks to help local establishments and neighbors. That has been keeping me very busy during this time.
